Are You The ONE?

It’s absolutely devastating that most people resort to building worthless bonds that carry no connection to what is important to them. I’m talking about people settling for others that do not inspire, arouse, reflect, observe, care, even love them for who they are. the description I just gave are the attributes of individuals who have lost hope in themselves, and subsequently have lost hope in others. if u cant relate, connect, and most importantly-MUTUALLY- yearn and desire each others company, then you are missing out on all that’s good in life.

It’s rare to find a person worth time to spend on. It’s ridiculous how a majority of people are looking to use themselves as a commodity. As a commodity to instant sexual pleasure. Among other things to think about, such as STDs, heart ache, etc., these people have a lack of self-worth, self-esteem, and a poor self-concept. When you chose you’re partner, whether it be for a long term relationship or a short-time “sex buddy” you should make sure that you consider yourself first. See if that person, that situation, and your feelings are in harmony with your desires or not.

Personally, a person with no goals or ambitions is a major turn-off. A person that cannot hold a conversation beyond the latest movie or the latest episode of Jersey Shore is not the person worth spending time on. This is because I need to know, in my heart, that the person I’m with, is not depended on me. An individual with morals, ambitions, and an understanding of the future before themselves is a person who values life. Plus, you should be able to learn a few things from the person you’re with.

Consider these and more, when choosing the person who are, essentially, going to share a side of you that you don’t share often. Make sure that the one you choose has the ability to establish mutual trust, mutual respect, and have a compassionate-not to mention passionate, relationship with.

Letter to Sensei,

[the following is an experience I shared at the July 2011 World Peace Prayer Meeting--also know as Kosen-Rufu Gongyo--on July 3rd 2011.] After sharing the following with my fellow bodhisattvas, this letter was faxed immediately to President Daisaku Ikeda, my Mentor.    Happy birthday America, Happy birthday Lady Liberty The land of the free The land of the many I’m so fortunate to have my karmic manifestations result in my propagating the Lotus Sutra in the Latter Day of the Law in America. I am essentially here to share with you the experiences I’ve encountered through practicing Nichiren Buddhism. The tremendous fortune, the tremendous benefits, both conspicuous and inconspicuous, have been so immense that not sharing these with you would be counterproductive to my role as a Bodhisattva. July 3 rd 2011 Sensei, The Pacific Ocean stands between you and I, nonetheless we are working side-by-side to fulfill one mission: to relive all sentient beings from the sufferings o...

Humans Are Free

Robert Kane (1938-) Indeterminism: true free choice must escape the determinist net and require a self-originative choice not reducible to factors over which we have no control. Kane, in this essay, directly contradicts the central premise of determinists that all human actions are determined by internal or external factors beyond our power to change. Moreover, Kane develops an explicitly libertarian alternative to determinism, arguing that at least some human actions emerge from a power to be the ultimate source of one's purpose, he calls this a "deeper freedom".                Humans Are Free FREE WILL: NEW DIRECTIONS FOR AN ANCIENT PROBLEM FREEDOM Surface Freedom: Everyday freedoms. We can freely choose what movie to see, where to shop, what music to listen to, and etc. This sort of freedom would subject us to manipulation of desires and wants. Desires and senses are subject to covert control. RESPONSIBILIT...
